Distal Ulna

The implant is designed to articulate with the patient’s natural ulnar notch of the radius, and as such the head of the distal ulna is modular to accommodate a variety of anatomical dimensions. Depending on the resection distance from the head of the ulna, the metaphyseal part is also modular in five distinct lengths in increments of 5 mm. Thereafter any other length can be provided on a patient’s specific design.

At the resection level the implant features an osseo-integration ring. The entire implant is made of medical grade titanium and the ulnar head is ceramic coated with titanium oxide.
